Constantin is the greatest host ever! Because of the small size the hostel really feels like a 'family' :) Strongly recommended! 5 January 2009 Constantin is very friendly and funny to talk to! I enjoyed the home-y atmosphere and hospitality. The location is perfect for walking to the city center and visiting museums, parks, etc. It's nice and quiet, as well. It's like staying with long lost relatives! 5 January 2009 So welcoming and alot of fun. Really enjoyed the homely atmosphere. Thanks sooooo much. 24 December 2008 This hostel is great. Constantin runs it and he is around all the time offering coffee and conversation. The place is in an apartment and extremely comfortable. Each room has a computer and flat screen TV, and it feels more like a homestay than your typical hostel experience. I loved it as an escape from the standard crowded, busy hostel experience I've had everywhere else. 14 December 2008 The owner is a very nice person 8 December 2008 Constantine (who runs the hostel) is very friendly and will go out of his way to assist with any issues where possible. 17 November 2008 Great staff, very friendly. Computer in each room, very handy. 8 November 2008 The hostel was family run, and they were wonderful people, very helpful and hospitable. They even got up at three in the morning to make tea for us before we left to catch a plane. 7 November 2008 The hostel was run by Constantine and his mother.They were extremely helpful and friendly.They made us really feel as if we were staying with them as proper guests.They offered us coffee or tea constantly and even gave us breakfast on the last day. 1 November 2008 I loved to stay in real romanian district, in a amazing and confortable house. it sounds to be home and costantin and his mum are great!!!! 27 October 2008  FREE INTERNET IN YOUR ROOM. He is available 24 hours a day also - superhuman effort. The 4x room is very spacious, with lots of room to breathe and a very comfortable seating area. The free internet access came as a welcome surprise. The hostel is located only 4 metro stops away from the centre of town, whilst still being in a quiet neighbourhood. Alot of travel and tourist information was provided in hard copy that proved very useful. Private television and dvd playing facilities. 8 September 2008 Excellent! Clean with friendly staff! Lots of free pretzels and several flavours of tea to choose from. :) 28 August 2008 the familiar atmosphere 26 August 2008 constantine the owner couldn't do enough to help us. we were able to leave our big rucksacks at the hostel for most the week as we came back and forth. internet access and laundry service were excellent. 25 August 2008 The gentleman running the place was helpful, friendly, and interested in you as a person and the travels that you were doing...a super bonus was that his mom did my laundry at no cost...I could access the internet at no additional cost, as well.... he even offered to let me use his personal laptop. 25 August 2008 Staff incredibly welcoming and more than willing to help. A really good stay. 22 August 2008 This hostel felt so homely and the free internet was really useful. You have full use of the kitchen and fridge. Felt like another home. 3 July 2008 this hostel is fantastic,constantine and his mother are also fantastic and cant do enough to help people,the facilaties are great and 2 comps free of charge and tea and cofee and pretzels all day long, it is very very safe and in a good location although make sure you read the directions carefully not like this thick irish man who got lost,lol i would definately recomend a stay here and if i am back in bucherest i will definately stay here, 1 July 2008 This hostel is very comfortable, and definitely a place to relax and gather yourself. Not too far from the city center for partying at night. Several times a day, I was offered free tea or coffee from the staff. The first night, I was offered a meal (not a regular thing). very helpful and cozy. 29 June 2008 The staff! Constantin, the manager, is friendly, funny and helpful! He will serve you a good coffee every morning! Also, it is a small hostel (maximum accomodation is 8 people). So, it is a warmful atmosphere to meet people. 17 June 2008 Super friendly hostel. Location is 10 minutes from the underground sttation, that for me is a bit too much, but in Bucharest taxis are really cheap so it wasn't so much of a problem. I will come back for sure! The place is really clean, and the host try to do everything he can to make your stay as better as he can. I will recomend definitely the place and I would go back to the same place. Everything was perfect. 26 May 2008 it is a small hostel but one of the best ever. 25 May 2008 Constantine is the most helpful and friendly host I have ever encountered at a hostel. The rooms are extremely clean and have a great view over old Bucharest. The hostel is not at the center of Bucharest, where you find the most of the historical buildings. But staying here, you will have an unique opportunity and will feel how the life is in Bucharest. 10 April 2008 Constanz was very knowlegeable about the city and very helpful. 7 April 2008 The rooms were spotless as was the bathroom - clean and looked brand new! Constantine was *really* helpful and friendly, and always a wonderful host! We got coffee/tea whenever we wanted made especially by him, and recommendations on where to go and how to get there.
